Born in San Bernardino and raised in San Diego, I began my career in service — proudly joining the U.S. Navy in 1994 and later continuing with the Navy Reserves and California National Guard. After completing my military service, I transitioned into the homebuilding industry, where I developed a deep understanding of construction quality, building systems, and homeowner satisfaction. For several years, I worked alongside superintendents inspecting new homes from the framing stage through final walk-throughs and later managed post-closing warranty repairs to ensure every home met the highest standards. That foundation grew into a long career in facility management, maintenance, and property operations, where I strengthened my skills in inspection, safety, and system performance. In 2022, my family and I relocated to Rincon, Georgia, where I founded Shellback Home Inspections LLC to continue my lifelong commitment to service, integrity, and reliability. I hold multiple professional certifications including Facility Management Professional (FMP), Certified Professional Inspector (CPI®), and Certified Commercial Property Inspector (CCPIA). Every inspection I perform is guided by the same principles I learned in uniform — precision, honesty, and dedication to protecting what matters most.
